How to set up Single Sign-on

Single Sign-on (SSO) permits a user to use one set of login credentials to access multiple applications, which significantly simplifies the login process. This feature is extremely useful for enterprise-level companies that use multiple software platforms on a daily basis and need better user account management.

Kurtosys supports SSO which means users can log into the Kurtosys platform and document portals using their credentials from any external identity provider that uses the common SAML 2.0 authentication protocol. This eliminates the need for users to set up and remember multiple passwords, thus reducing password fatigue and improving security.

How to set up SSO

To set up SSO for your Kurtosys account, you can either follow the steps below or get in touch with your Kurtosys team to set it up on your behalf.

If you choose to configure SSO yourself, navigate to Settings > SSO.

Then select the ‘+’ icon.

The ‘Strategy Configuration’ panel will slide out from the right.

Enter the name of the SSO authentication provider you would like to add and select the authentication type. Kurtosys supports SAML 2.0 authentication.

Once you have selected the authentication type, the rest of the form will activate.

Complete the form with the details sourced from your chosen identity provider and click SAVE when done.

Once set up, your SSO authentication provider will be listed on the SSO screen, and you’ll be able to log into Kurtosys using that platform’s user credentials.
