Improvements

  • Sharing Enhancement: Help Article referenced at the end of this post
    • Multiple enhancements to ensure sharing can be done in a safer way. Below is the complete scope of the work done. In essence sharing from two masters is now not possible and the UI and logs will give you an indication that you are going to disconnect from one master. This goes for Multi-site sharing as well
    • Single Share:
      • When the user does a single share from a parent to a child post and that child post has a master already a popup will be shown clearly defining what master is associated with that post already and prompt the user to confirm that they want to use the new master and remove the previous master.
    • Multi-Site Share:
      • If there is a child page/page that has a different master/masters compared to the other child pages the user will be blocked from sharing to all child pages for that post/page. The user will then be served with a popup explaining why they cannot share and that they need to disconnect from the previous master on that subsite prior to sharing again.
      • This would happen if the user presses the Update button or uses the share panel and selects multiple sites to share to.
    • Logs:
      • The sharing panel should say none
      • It should state that it has a new master and the share was removed from the original master.
      • Share from [insert old parent site name here] was replaced with a new parent on [insert site name here]

Bug Fixes

  • Accordion Widget: This issue is only related to nested accordion widgets. With the deployment of v1.2.13 we made some accessibility changes that caused nested accordions to duplicate on click events.
  • Search Bar: While the search is still in progress, Notice the following
    • the disabled attribute is added
    • tabindex to -1 until search results come back
