Improvements


All Applications
  • Document Generation
    Apps have been updated to look for a new window flag that indicates that they should use the new dataset/executeLowPriority endpoint over the usual dataset/execute endpoint for improved reliability when we are busy with batch document generations.
  • Web Workers
    All applications now include a feature to check if web workers can be supported based on the same-origin policy. If not, web workers are automatically disabled to ensure smooth functionality and a seamless user experience, even when using external CMS providers.
Document List
  • Document Links - New Tab
    The Document List app now supports managing and viewing documents or external HTTP document links, allowing users to open links in a new tab or download PDF documents directly. This update ensures compatibility with all major browsers and provides clear indicators for user actions.
Document Render
  • Migration to v4
    We have migrated the Document Render app from v2 to v4 in the studio-apps repository, making it available in v4. We have also drafted documentation regarding the app.
Global Inputs
  • Pre-filtered Links
    The global input app now supports pre-setting filters through URL query strings, allowing users to be directed to focused and relevant results in campaign pages and email distributions. This feature ensures consistency across different fund centre solutions.
Line Chart
  • Rebase - Missing Start Data
    The line chart now rebases benchmark data starting from the portfolio data point when there is an offset in the start date of the benchmark vs the portfolio. If all data points are available for both benchmarks and portfolio, the rebasing applies equally for all data points, starting from zero.
Pie Chart
  • Disable Animation
    The chart has been updated to use the window flag for disabling chart animations, useful for document generation, in preventing generating half rendered charts.
Radial Chart
  • Disable Animation
    The chart has been updated to use the window flag for disabling chart animations, useful for document generation, in preventing generating half-rendered charts.
Table
  • Superscript Ordering
    The Table app now supports order configuration for cell and header cell disclaimers, allowing control over superscript assignment to match Fund Center's display. The app subscribes to the Global Disclaimer Store to ensure accurate and updated superscript values. This is required as the table app is used in the Document Render app, which the Fund Center uses to do a PDF download of the fund centre results, thus the order of disclaimers through the PDF needs to be accurate and align with the order on the fund centre.

Bug Fixes


Scatter Chart
  • Sync X & Y Axis Ticks
    The issue with the syncXYTicks not working correctly in the configuration has been resolved. The fix ensures that the charting configuration is correctly identified, allowing the syncXYTicks to function as expected
