We are excited to announce that we have implemented numerous accessibility enhancements to our applications. These updates are designed to provide a more inclusive and user-friendly experience for all our users.
The Scatter chart has been migrated from the v2 stack and is now available within the v4 stack as of v4.7.0.
Checkboxes
We have updated our base checkbox component to be more accessible, with additional focus on its implementation within the Table app when used as a row selector.
Charting
We have introduced screen reader updates that provide detailed information about the datapoints displayed, regardless of the chart's orientation.
Pagination
We have introduced screen reader updates that provide additional context around the pagination controls.
Table Captions
We have made an accessibility update to the Table component. All applications that use the table component will now provide a caption element within the HTML when configured with a caption.
Invalid Aria Labels
We improved the input labels and aria-labels to use placeholders as fallbacks when no label text is available.
Input Error Messages
We enhanced the error messages and general feedback across authentication screens.
Clear Search Button
We have improved screen reader feedback for the clear search element.
Preview Action Button
We enhanced the document preview button with additional context via the aria-label configuration.
Search Results Redirect Message
We have improved the screen reader feedback for finder elements.
Message Context
Screen readers will now notify users of updates to the screen upon interaction.
Date Picker
We have provided improved context around date picker formats for screen readers.
Message Context
Screen readers will now notify users of the search input's purpose and updates after entering a search term.

Row Expand and Headers
We have ensured blank cells have visually hidden elements for screen readers and added summaries for tables.
Loading Message
The screen reader now notifies users when tab content is loading and when it has finished loading.

We now allow users to specify collapsed or expanded commentary without stripping HTML content.
Rebase Options
We updated the line chart rebasing for benchmark series that have a start date after the start date of the main series on the chart, by adding functionality to prevent the insertion of data for series that don’t have data before their inception date.
Bar Scale Label Formatting
We have added options to configure label formatting for BarScale elements.
Local Pagination
We have added support to paginate entity data: historical datasets, timeseries, allocations & statistics. These data collections do not support API pagination, and this is purely UI driven.
Keyboard Support for Dropdowns
Fixed the keyboard functionality on the dropdown component so that when you press enter it will select the value and close the dropdown.
Axis Ticks Around Point
We have ensured the number of ticks above and below the pivot point tick are equal when configured for the y-axis.
Axis Tick Formatting
We fixed an issue where axis labels would hide if label formatting had no decimals, by separating data formatting for calculations from the visible label.
Search Keyboard Support
We fixed the navigation order for the keyboard interaction of the search results for faceted search.
Toast Message
We've updated the Copy URL toast message so that it is translatable.
Period Selectors
we fixed an issue where if you only have date selectors configured (period options), the app will break when changing the date.
Event Management
We have ensured the Pie Chart re-renders based on event configuration after global input changes.

We resolved an issue with the document context menu not populating correctly after updates from global inputs or global search interactions
